No Detectable Cancer—

This is the face of a woman who didn’t know just yet what she found out today—that her oncology team sent off both breasts for biopsies and pathology—and the surgery was a success. No chemo necessary. No radiation necessary. No additional medication necessary.

There is no sign of detectable cancer in my body. The tumors are gone.

I am sore and in a lot of pain and moving very slowly and have a long road of grueling recovery and more surgeries in front of me.

But I am lying down to bed tonight knowing that I am now cancer free.

Fuck. Yes.
